2s reach 20/20 Final
Northwich 178-6  Prestbury 32   Northwich won by 146 runs

Holders Northwich strolled into the Final with an embarrassingly comprehensive win over Prestbury. Northwich chose to bat first and got off to a solid start with Matt Lightburn (23) and Mark Phillips (21). At 10 overs they were 63-2, then the innings belonged to Jon Price as he hit  his way to an unbeaten on 78 when the innings closed. This was far too much for the visitors who panicked in the run chase. Scott Hayes (3-5) bowled a double wicket maiden in the first over and together with Jimmy Kimber(2-3)  the openers reduced the reply to 11-7. They were also 3 run outs as Dean Kendrick (2-8) wrapped up the win in the tenth over. Apart from the bowl out in the previous round, Northwich 2s have won every match of this years competition by more than 100 runs.

Northwich 173-5 Dec    Winnington Park 106    Northwich won by 67 runs

Northwich got the best of their local rivals with a result that keeps the home side in the promotion chase and leaves Winnington rooted to the bottom of the league. Northwich won the toss and opted to bat first. Martyn East hit a typically attacking 73 in 69 balls and a fluent 31 from Paul Alcock saw them declare with maximum batting points after 42 overs. The visitors were in the chase at 88-4 but a lower order collapse saw them dismissed for 106. Scott Hayes took 3-22 at the top of the innings. Stuart Hayes tormented his old club with 5-26, leaving Matt Lightburn to wrap it up with 2-3 with 10 overs to spare.

Stretton 2s 132-6 Dec    Northwich 2s 134-6  Northwich won by 4 wickets
With players disappearing at an alarming rate Northwich seconds fielded 4 players in their first game of the season and still managed to win at lowly Stretton. The home side won the toss and in good batting conditions were restricted to just 132-6 from their 45 overs. One of those 4 new players was Andy Gibbon who took 3-17 from 12 miserly overs. With a weakened batting line-up Northwich could have been in trouble but Gibbon hit a solid 30 at the top of the innings, Mike McDonough smashed 40 to steer his team towards the target as Steve Carter, another debutant held the innings together with 21 not out.

1s win reach final
Northwich 167-6   Alvanley 83   Northwich won by 84 runs

Northwich eased into the final of this seasons 20/20 with a comprehensive victory over the holders. Alvanley were chasing 168 to win but never recovered from 4-2 thanks to a catch in the deep from Martyn East and a smart piece of fielding from Scott Hayes to acheive a run out. Hayes went on take 3-15, Ashley Sefton also took 3-15 and Stu Hayes 2-11. The game was sealed with a brilliant diving one-handed catch on the boundary from Mark Walker. Earlier Northwich had opted to bat first. East hit 4 sixes in his 43 at the top of the order but Matty Jamieson batted even better to hit 7 sixes in his 74 as Northwich smashed 44 runs in the last 4 overs to post an imposing target that could not be beaten.
